Lily had her one-month check-up yesterday with her pediatrician, and everything looks great! She is right on track with gaining weight, and is up to 9 pounds, 4 ounces. When she put Lily on her tummy to examine her, the doctor said “Wow!” when Lily was able to hold her head completely off of the table and look around for a few seconds – apparently her neck muscles are quite advanced! :-)
Unfortunately, Lily did not have time to show off her reading skills, but I know the doctor would have REALLY been impressed with that! Lily takes her reading very seriously.
Lily did get a vaccine shot, and screamed her head off, but both baby and Mommy recovered fairly quickly. Other than that, no news is good news at Well Child Checks, so that’s all!
