The other night, we were trying to get Lily to go downstairs with Michael and leave me upstairs in peace for a few moments.
Michael was telling her about some fun things they could do, and I added that it wouldn’t be any fun with me anyway. I told her I was just going to feed Emma and it was going to be very boring.
Lily’s response? “Mommy, it won’t be boring, because I’ll be here!”
